Programs
Our programs are designed to support people and their pets during seasons of illness, recovery, and change. Support may be offered through one or more programs depending on individual needs and circumstances.
Assistance may be needed during illness, medical treatment, recovery, or age-related changes that affect a person’s ability to care for their pet.
Dog Walking & Exercise
Regular walks and movement are essential for a dog’s physical and emotional wellbeing. When illness, injury, or age-related changes make walking unsafe or exhausting, this support can quickly become overwhelming.
We provide walking and exercise support to help dogs release energy, maintain routine, and remain calm and content. This assistance is especially helpful when mobility concerns, balance issues, or medical recovery make longer walks difficult or unsafe.
Feeding, Medication & Daily Care Support
When health changes affect stamina, coordination, or memory, even basic daily pet care can become challenging.
We assist with feeding, medication administration, and other essential daily care needs to help ensure pets remain healthy and cared for during periods of illness, recovery, or limited mobility. This support helps reduce stress for both pets and their owners while maintaining familiar routines.
Compassionate Visits & Connection
During hospital stays, medical treatments, rehabilitation, or assisted living transitions, separation from a beloved pet can be emotionally difficult.
We provide compassionate visits, check-ins, and connection support to help maintain the bond between pets and their owners. These visits offer reassurance, comfort, and continuity during times of transition, helping both people and pets feel less alone.
Temporary Care & Crisis Support
In some situations, short-term care may be needed when a sudden medical event, hospitalization, or crisis makes in-home care temporarily impossible.
We offer short-term foster care and crisis support when available, helping prevent unnecessary pet surrenders during times of emergency or recovery. Our goal is to provide stability and peace of mind while families focus on healing.
Not sure exactly where you fit?
If you are facing a challenge that is not clearly listed here, please reach out. Every situation is different, and needs do not always fit neatly into one category. Support often begins with a simple conversation.
If we are able to help, we will. If not, we will do our best to guide you toward other resources.
Support is offered based on individual circumstances and volunteer availability, and we are always happy to talk through your situation.
